    Depth Chart Files - Shohei Ohtani

    If this question has been asked previously, then I apologize in advance. I've did some quick Forum searching and unable to find anything similar to this inquiry. I noticed that Shohei Ohtani is not listed in any of the Depth Charts (AL Web View, AL csv download, Pitcher csv download) as a pitcher but is listed in the hitter Depth Chart files as a DH (85%). On the other hand, he is listed in the different projection files for both hitters and pitchers and is currently projected to pitch approx. 160 innings.

    Was wondering if there is a rationale for Ohtani's omission as a pitcher from the depth chart files.

    The Custom Draft Guide (https://www.baseballhq.com/members/t...layer_valuator (https://www.baseballhq.com/members/tools/cdg/player_valuator)) always generates an Ohtani hitter value which is equal to the Ohtani-pitcher value. Can the hitter value can be calculated independently of the pitcher value?


    Basically, we need to get him split into two players so we can value him separately, but our stat provider isn't able to support that. So we're trying to find a workaround.
