Solid core of veteran owners from several other leagues are starting their own new NL 5x5 auction league. Traditional 5x5 categories (except S + 2H for relief), 23 man roster, 5 bench spots, $260 auction budget, $100 FAAB. Separate Minor League player draft for 5 player farm system. Target number of owners is 12, but will get league off the ground with as few as 10. Still need 2 - 4 owners. League fees $110. Will be using CBS Sportsline to manage the league. Depending on owner availability, the auction will be either weekend of April 11/12 or April 18/19 with stats to-date counting. Leading contender for auction Saturday, April 11.
