Our fantasy league is currently looking for a manager to take over an existing team. The ideal person we are looking for is someone who will be active throughout the season, regardless of their place in the standings, and would be interested in staying in the league for more than one year.
Some details:
Rotisserie League- traditional 5 X 5 category scoring
NL-Only, 30-man roster (18 Hitters, 12 pitchers), approximately 8 man taxi squad,3 minor league slots
Weekly Transaction format, FAAB bidding, we typically follow the rotisserie baseball rule book with regards to transactions.
Live Auction Format - READ: We actually meet up and have a live, in-person auction. Heck, we even have an auctioneer!
Keeper league (Keep up to 18 players)- you would be taken over a team that has plenty of good value players.
Cash to the top 4 spots/year (last year, the top manager won approx $1000), 50% winner, 25% 2nd, 15% 3rd, 10% 4th. 100% payout- we aren't in it to make profit, just to have fun.
The auction will be held in EUGENE,OR so if you can't make the auction, then this isn't the league for you. For the type of person that we are looking for, this wouldn't be an issue. The rest of the season can be done over email/phone, and we use CBS Sportsline for stats management.
