I have 3 openings in my dynasty points league going into its 16th year.
Who is it for?
SAINT@HQ did just that. He joined this league a few years ago, and his team was terrible at first. But he drafted only high-upside prospects, and he knows his prospects, so when they reached the majors they were good, and now he is one of the strongest teams. That’s right, you would be competing against two of the prospect writers here!
12 team mixed, so it’s not enough to get prospects who reach the majors, they need to be among the best 12 at their position relatively quickly. H2H, twice-weekly.
Look at these scoring rules. No, really, look at it and absorb what it means for SP not to worry about W-L or ER.
Three divisions: Upper, Middle, Lower, and yes, we have annual relegation, and you will start in the Lower.
We will hold a dispersal draft for the three new teams, so you do start with decent players, such as Ohtani, Judge, Raleigh, Turner.
78-man roster: 1 each of C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, three OF, two UT, 5 SP, 4 RP. That’s 19. The other 59 can be whatever you want: all minors, all majors, it’s your team do what you want.
Hosted on CBS (we may move to Fantrax in the future), just $25 fee annually. This is a low-stress league. All I ask of you is to set your lineup twice a week, takes 10 minutes of your week.
But the right owners will want to tinker, speculate on new prospects, make trades, build your team for future glory, knowing it was YOU who built it.
DM me if you would relish this challenge.
Who is it for?
- The guy who likes picking up a young prospect before anyone else
- Who likes being able to add him day or night, 24 hours a day, during the regular season.
- Who doesn’t like contracts since we don’t have them
- Who loves building a team his or her way, and has the patience to play the long game
- Who laughs at a mere Top-100 prospect list, and wants to go 400 deep.
