Our long-running 10-team NL-only auction keeper league is doing its annual auction on March 18, and one member can't participate in the auction because of a death in the family. He needs someone to step in and do the auction in his stead. We will pay whoever is willing to do this. Most of those participating in the auction will be in Vegas together, but one member will be participating remotely by Zoom from Paris. Unless you can be in Vegas, you would also be joining by Zoom, which is fine. The owner whose team you're drafting will provide his prep and intel to guide you, although he's not a big baseball fan (he's in the league more for the camaraderie), so almost anyone who reads these forums would do a better job with his team than he would.
The auction usually lasts 7-8 hours, beginning this year at around 11 am Pacific time on Saturday, March 18. We'd pay per hour, at a negotiable rate.
It's a pretty laid-back group, and the auction is usually a pretty good time. The league is 5x5, $260 budget, with standard rosters (C,C,1B,2B,3B,SS,MI,CI,OF,OF,OF,OF,OF,Util, 9 pitchers, 5 bench). The team you'd be running in the auction will have 4 or 5 keepers already in place, depending on whether its owner makes any trades before our keeper deadline.
Your service would end at the end of the auction, when the missing owner would take over the team you've constructed for him.
