I'm confused how Denard Span, who is out until Spring training, can be listed as worth $13 in the CDG (we use 6x6 with SLG and QS). Also notice that to a lesser extent Aaron Altherr (who is still without a role and has a 1 for Playing Time in Mayberry Method, is listed at $14 (more than Beltre, Bird, Lind , Calhoun, etc). Are these anomalies? If not, it's hard to know how to gauge the rest of the projections/ $$ values because in particular Span's numbers are so far off. He will produce nothing more in 2015.

Projections are officially useless at this point in the year. In fact, some of our analysts are starting to load initial 2016 playing time projections into our player database, since we need those available right at the end of the season to feed into the 2016 Forecaster.
You'll notice that in Playing Time Today, we've stopped noting PT% allocation changes as part of the news. There's no value in 2+ week projections of playing time or performance.
