  • Saving HQ articles for offline reading

The Apple Safari browser for iOS has an "add to reading list" feature that captures a loaded page for viewing offline. This works pretty well for most sites, but not so well with HQ. After adding an HQ page to the list, a "not available" message appears there after going offline.

Wondering if other iPad owners have had the same issues with the HQ site? Workaround?

Or... would it be possible to email each day's new articles (just text) to members who opt in? Or maybe a password-protected web page that contains the text each day's new articles?

Commuting without Internet access presents challenges.

There are apps that can save articles for you offline, even with the paywall issue.

Can you recommend such an app that will work with the HQ site? Not having any luck with Instapaper or Pocket (paywall issues).
