Still having problems with timeout

I know this has been raised before but I've never seen a definitive answer and I am still having problems. When I log into the forums on, um, a computer that doesn't allow me to check the "remember me" box, I get logged out within 2 to 6 minutes. I thought I was supposed to be able to stay logged in for 15 minutes or more. Maybe my expectations are wrong -- in which case I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what the actual kick-out rate is. If 2 minutes is the right rate, then I just won't try to log in on, um, that particular computer anymore.

FWIW, this happens in both Firefox and Chrome.

The timeout setting that seems to be relevant here is set to two hours. Lots of chatter about this on vbulletin support, though. Sounds like maybe it's some sort of bug.

Anyone else here having this problem?
