Projections - Excel Custom Filter on Position

I have downloaded the csv projection files into excel worksheets. I am attempting to sort these so I can have a list of all players eligible at a position, say third base. Historically, I would use filter, and custom the filter for values that contain 5, or *5*. However, this year when I do this filter, excel returns nothing. I have copied and pasted all values in the sheet as text and as general numbers, still nothing. Any thoughts on how to sort the data to get a list of players by eligible position?

You'll probably have to do something to force Excel to treat them as text. The TEXT function or prefixing them all with a text char should do it.

Text prefix worked. Still confused why that works but formatting as text does not. Anyhow, thanks Rob.
