  • Article I can't find

    Hi I'm new here. I'm already happy with my pruchase. Anyway, I saw an article that narrowed down pitchers with a Strand% under 65 and a H% under like 27 before I singed up, butI can't find the article, could someone post the link? Thank you!

    Hey, welcome adichiara!

    I'm not sure precisely which article you liked, but it likely was one of the articles in the Starting Pitchers Buyers Guides series. From the home page, click on "Starting Pitchers" in the menu on the left. If that's not the article you are looking for, then click on one of the links at the bottom of the article that takes you to other articles from the same series in the archives. When I took a look just now, there were several articles similar to what you described.

      Thanks Michael, I managed to find it at the bottom. I thought it was more recent it was from July.

        I have one more question I can't find the answer to but didn't want to make a new thread.

        Is there anywhere on the site that has previous seasons BPIs that aren't like a 2004, 2005, etc type file but listed but more like it is referenced in player profiles. For example,

        Code:
         Year BA xBA bb% ct% Eye PX SX GLF
        ====   ===  ==== ===  ===  ====  ===  ===  =========
        2003  .307 .306  12%  84%  0.89  113  164  47/20/33
        2004  .267 .326  13%  83%  0.91  194  167  39/15/46
        2005  .266 .272   9%  84%  0.58   96  102  44/19/37
        2006  .280 .300  15%  80%  0.89  195   93  37/15/48
        ....so its easy to view trends. Are stats listed on order anywhere on the site? Thanks!

          I hope you don't mind if I, just an ordinary subscriber, respond again. During most of the calendar year, BBHQ assigns a staff member to patrol the message boards at least once per day and as a practical matter others respond more frequently than that. They don't respond to every post (see the Forum rules link at the top of the page for details) but coverage is pretty good. However, this time of the year BBHQ responses become less frequent.

          I don't believe that prior years stats are displayed like you want on the website. The annual Baseball Forecaster book might be what you are looking for.

            Michael is right. If you get the Baseball Forecaster. It shows prior years. I highlight certain criteria in the book. So you can see an upward or downward trend.
