  • Stickies???

When did you enable stickies and why aren't they more readily available??? I've been suggesting them for months and months!

It seems only @HQers can use stickies

      What is a "sticky"?

"Stickies" are those threads that always appear at the top of a forum, no matter when they were created. Only the Forum Moderator can do it, though.

          Tom,

if one of us regular joes creates a thread, can a moderator turn it into a sticky? I think I've seen that done on a number of other forums, including ones that use the same forum software as this.

Yes, I do the same thing: I ask the moderator to change a thread into a sticky.

That said, "stickies" are not meant for general use. The purpose of a sticky is to keep frequently-visited threads at the top (like FAQs), not to highlight a interesting conversation.
