I swear I saw this recently, but for the life of me I can't find it. Who are the best catchers to steal on and who are the worst? I have Dave Roberts on my team so I'm pretty much only starting him in a situation where the catchers are struggling (unfortunately, it's impossible for him to go againast Piazza...)

Try this website, although you might want to look at the 2005 numbers too, not just the year-to-date figures.

There's a lot of research that suggests that a runner steals on the pitcher. Catchers have relatively little input.

well, if that's the case, is there any data on pitchers somewhere?

The annual Bill James statistics book (I know, that's not the official title) carries caught stealing percentages by pitchers. That may be more helpful than 2006 YTD data anyway.
