  • MR usage chart

    Love the new feature. How would it be used to gauge a pitcher moving up or down the leverage chart? Is he coming into a blowout in the 5th or a close game in the 8th? Do individual performances get a LI score? If so perhaps a toggle to show that instead of # of innings.

    Regardless, it's a nice addition.

    individual LI scores is an interesting idea to include. Will investigate that.

      Wait, where do I find this new "middle reliever usage chart"?
      * 10-team AL-only, auction ($260 budget), 2 yr contracts wi/toppers, max 13 freezes, $100 FAAB with weekly auctions, 4x4 with hybrid categories
      * Hitting categories: OBP, HR, RP, BADV = SB+2B+2*3B
      * Pitching categories: ERA, SV+HLD, QIP = 2*IP-baserunners, WQG = W+QO+HQO+CG (QO = 5/6/8 IP with 2/3/4 ER or fewer, HQO = 7+ IP with 3 or fewer ER)

      * 13H/8P/2U on active roster, with U = hitter or pitcher
      * Positions: 2xC/1B/3B/COR/2B/SS/MI/5xOF, no pitcher positions
      * 8 player reserve roster (10 after Aug 31) via draft (salaries by round: 10/10/5/5/5/5/2/2)
      * 6 player farm roster (minor leaguers only)
      * Liberal movement between active and reserve rosters, unlimited DL for IL players.

      * Weekly roster moves through Aug 31, daily thereafter.
      * Daily moves allowed season-long for players becoming MLB inactive (IL, suspension, AAA, etc.)

        OK, I found it... It is a tab on a team's depth chart.

        I do have a suggestion... when going from team to team on the depth chart, it would be nice if the same tab as was on the previous page were selected.

        For example, I was looking at BAL Reliever Usage, and then I wanted to look at DET reliever usage. So I clicked on DET in the list... But the batter dashboard opened. It would have been better if I were taken to Reliever Usage.

          Related, it also might be nice if the starting inning were shown too.

          So 4 pieces of information: number of pitches | starting inning | leverage when entering | innings pitched

          Since you are coloring the cells based on result, I think you don't really need text for that.

          Another useful feature would be the ability to scroll back in time.
