As always, Beano, you're correct when you mentioned that Wilmer Flores is not the SF Giants' DH. In fact he didn't find a home in the U.S. over the winter, signing with Toros De Tijuana in the Mexican League yesterday. Just one of those (very) strange things that happen as often as a comet signing: on May 17, 2025 Flores was tied with Aaron Judge for the MLB lead in RBI with 41. That's a sentence maybe never uttered again in this lifetime. I was at least a little cratered that Flores couldn't at least get a minor league deal. Unless, of course, he didn't accept any, pointing out to that May 17 day almost 300 days ago. Another first baseman, Rowdy Tellez, reached a minor league deal with the Braves yesterday, so there is that!!
