I'm not one for posting on socials, so I thought it best to just come here and say my 2 cents. I was reluctantly talked into playing fantasy baseball by an old friend back in 2015, and I agreed to play in the league he was in. Played nearly 20+ years of fantasy football and was the LM of a high-stakes league, so fantasy sports were not foreign to me. I knew absolutely zilch about fantasy baseball, even though I was always a die-hard Pirates fan. Please save your condolences. I searched and found Baseball HQ and lost myself in the Forcaster and read it and studied it and fell in love with the process of finding this year's sleeper and keeping my league mates off my trail of what I found on this player or that player. Flipping through my 2015 edition, I found a small ad on the second of the last page. Baseball HQ Radio podcast: It's Free! Ever since then, I listened to just about every episode, and I always came away knowing something I didn't after listening. Now I am one of only 2 players in this league that's been around for 18 years to have won the league 3 times. No small part of that is due to Baseball HQ and you, Patrick. Thank you for all the time and energy you invested, and I will miss your quick wit and banter. Enjoy retirement, you've earned it. I do have one small ask, if I may. Please may the powers that be find a way to continue the Baseball HQ radio podcast; it would be a shame if the best fantasy baseball site there is no longer had a podcast.
