Make the #1, #2, etc. things not act like a shortcut

    Make the #1, #2, etc. things not act like a shortcut

    OK, this is just an annoyance, but... can you guys change is so that vBulletin does not interpret the hashtag symbol # followed by a number as a shortcut.

    For example, I'd like to be able to write:

    #1 this first thing
    #2 this second thing

    and not have it show up as:

    Home this first thing
    Forum this second thing

    Let's see... I'm curious what 1-10 do...

    #0 = #0
    #1 = Home
    #2 = Forum
    #3 = Blogs
    #4 = #4
    #5 = #5
    #6 = Special
    #7 = #7​
    #8 = Private Messages
    #9 = Albums
    #10 = #10
    * 10-team AL-only, auction ($260 budget), 2 yr contracts wi/toppers, max 13 freezes, $100 FAAB with weekly auctions, 4x4 with hybrid categories
    * Hitting categories: OBP, HR, RP, BADV = SB+2B+2*3B
    * Pitching categories: ERA, SV+HLD, QIP = 2*IP-baserunners, WQG = W+QO+HQO+CG (QO = 5/6/8 IP with 2/3/4 ER or fewer, HQO = 7+ IP with 3 or fewer ER)    ​
    * 13H/8P/2U on active roster, with U = hitter or pitcher
    * Positions: 2xC/1B/3B/COR/2B/SS/MI/5xOF, no pitcher positions
    * 8 player reserve roster (10 after Aug 31) via draft (salaries by round: 10/10/5/5/5/5/2/2)
    * 6 player farm roster (minor leaguers only)
    * Liberal movement between active and reserve rosters, unlimited DL for IL players.     ​
    * Weekly roster moves through Aug 31, daily thereafter.
    * Daily moves allowed season-long for players becoming MLB inactive (IL, suspension, AAA, etc.)

      To everyone... To get the desired behavior as the board is currently configured, you can use [noparse][/noparse] tags.

      That is, in order to show

      #1 this first thing

      You need to type

      [noparse]#1[/noparse] this first thing

            If Ray’s fix doesn’t take, all you need to do is place a space between the # and the digit and the problem goes away. Not sure but I think that is correct typesetting style anyhow.
