CDG big R$ increase

Sometime in the last few days the CDG values went up significantly for the top players. For example Witt, Judge, and Ramirez all gained around 3.00-4.00 dollars. Did something happen? I’m using top players option, 4x4, 130.00. Witt went from 21.00 to 25.00, same for judge, Ramirez went from 19-23.

Top players vs. middle players vs. balanced didn't really work before..... but we just turned it on. It was actually running 'balanced' for everyone before, so if you were defaulting to Top Players, you're now seeing the effects of that.

We play 2 at catcher, 1b, 2b, ss, and 3b. We play 5 at outfield and 10 pitchers. The DH only guys like Ohtani, Ozuna, Schwarber etc are forced in our league to the outfield. I love the force positions option on your CDG but with our settings it I try and force positions the DH only guys don’t show up any longer. I think I need to have a UT position but then we wouid either have a 26 man roster versus our current 25 which isn’t accurate or I could go with 4 OF and 1 UT to have 25 man roster but that isn’t accurate either. What do you suggest to do in our specific situation to have the DH only players show up if the force position button is turned on? Thanks

I would go with 4 OF and 1 DH and keep the roster size at 25. The value differences between that and your actual league rules are going to be negligible.

Ray - Let me ask you this question. If it was you running the CDG program - would you turn the "force position" button on or would you keep it off. Until now I have kept that button off until reading your update this morning. The dollar values between the two options in some cases can be fairly wide and i just don't know which one would be preferable. Any guidance on this would be appreciated. Thank you.

Force positions should really only have a big effect on catcher values (per my article this AM). I always have it it turned on.
