  • MLB League Sync

What are the chances of other league sites, such as CBS and Fantrax, being added to the available providers? My league has been on CBS for over 15 years, so moving is likely out of the question. I hate missing out on the use of this tool.

Anything members can do to help? I know FantasyPros and FootballGuys have software that links to CBS and other main sites, so they seem to be willing participants.

We do have plans to expand coverage, but not sure which sites yet. We're also intending to add a MACK-like "input your own roster" function for people whose leagues are not on supported sites.

Awesome! CBS is a huge one. 1/2 the people I know in home leagues seem to be there, myself included. It would be a huge add. Thank you!

I'm told by the creators of LeagueSync that CBS has been resistant to working with them in the past, but we'll revisit that anyway.

Yes, tho my understanding is that's without CBS cooperation.

OnRoto would be an awesome addition. I'm sure 100's of leagues moved on from CBS back in 2018 when CBS was not ready when baseball started that year. THREE of the league I participate in all moved from cbs to OnRoto that year.

onroto has taken a major step backwards in the last few years

This is my personal opinion. I know a lot of people here love onroto. But I think they are in the minority personally

The site isnt very user friendly. Its kind of antiquated. I dont need bells and whistles and stuff

But compared to Fantrax and CBS ( the two sites I mainly use ). I just have 1 league that does onroto . Onroto is a distant third

I know it makes sense for some leagues. That have quirky rules and stuff. People think other sites cant do it etc.

I was listening to a sleeper and the bust podcast the other month. Justin Mason basically said the same thing as well about onroto

onroto's cust svc is really good. But other sites have caught up to them in that dept as well. If I email CBS or fantrax. I ususally get a response back in a few hours.

But to each is own. Some people had a bad experience with CBS 8 - 12 years ago. And still hold that against them. When they have improved a bunch. I used to hate them in the mid 2000's

                        It's kind like local Pizzeria's I guess

If you have a place that you have been going to forever. You like the people that work at the pizzeria.

                        . Why go someplace new.

even if the new place has great reviews

I used this option previously for several years and would like to see an option again when the upcoming season starts.
                            Thanks
