User Name/Form Name requirements

What are the requirements and limitations for user names to the site and the Forum (size/special characters/length/etc.)? Trying to figure out what to use given my current ones cannot be used once the site updates. It was for to long ago to remember them.

Forum requirements aren't changing. Your new site login is going to be your email address, although you can also use common other credentials you already have (Facebook/Google/Apple) if you prefer.
