Jordan Montgomery

Just got my Draft Prep version and I see Jordan Montgomery is a Ranger. I do not think he has signed anywhere yet. Maybe FAA for a team would be more appropriate. Very happy to be able to read all the commentary for this season. Being in a single AL-only league that use very non standard hitting categories plus 5-7 required non-closers, more than half the articles do not apply but those that do are very very helpful.

Yes, Montgomery is a free agent. We don't automatically move guys off of their prior teams into FA status, unless it's abundantly clear that they aren't returning to their former team. If guys get to roughly the opening of spring training still as an FA, then we'll probably move them off. Montgomery's FA status is properly reflected (with the green 'F') on the League Depth Chart page.
