  • Pirates Depth Chart

Might want to take a look at the behind the scene settings which list Todd Frazier as the only 1B for PIT on this page considering that, on this page, he is 3rd on the depth chart for 1B 8.7.3

Speaking of the Pirates projections, do we really expect Jared Oliva to be a $20 player and steal 23 bases?
The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

      Or get 65% PT?

Well, if he steals 23 bases he will be a $20 player. That's why Roman Quinn still has positive R$.

Getting 65% PT seems to assume that the Bucs will give up on Alford and Fowler, which seems to have happened, and Oliva will step in. That part hasn't happened, as he is still out with an oblique, so Reynolds is getting time in CF. On Wednesday it was reported that Oliva is still four to six weeks away from "resuming baseball activities." If you assume the best case he could still theoretically get 65% PT, but I personally am starting to think that 50% is a likelier scenario.
