20th anniversary discount?

The 20th anniversary article by Ray offers a discount if we confirm our credit card info. I clicked on the link but it didn't have any other links or special instructions. So I just clicked on "payment info" and re-entered my card expiration date (I am not sure whether it's current). I didn't get a message that said anything like "Thanks for renewing, your discount will be applied." Is that all we need to do to get the discount? Or is there some other process that I missed?
