  • Anti-market 1st round column this year?

Will Ron be doing his Anti-Market 1st round column this year? I noticed last year it was on Feb 22, and he recently did the "critical analysis of 1st round" did that take its place this year?

From the very end of Ron's 1st rd analysis column that you cited:

The same research that tracked first round attrition also showed that another six eventual first rounders will come from rounds 2-4 of the ADPs. As a next step, it makes sense to take a look at the players with ADPs 16-60 who might have the potential to significantly rise above their current ranking.

I'll do that as part of my annual Draft Radar columns over the next two weeks.

Anti-market 1st round column this year?

Ah ok, thx. I saw that but thought draft radar was a separate column all together from past memory.

I decided to do it a bit differently this year. The Anti-Market 1st round was an interesting exercise, however, by committing to a fixed group of 15 players, I severely limited the possibilities. Last week's column identified the players who I thought were legitimate first-rounders. As part of the Draft Radar columns the next two weeks, I'll identify the players who I think have the best odds at back-filling the 1st round gaps. In all, I'll likely be discussing more than 15 players, but I think that will give us all more options to think about.
