  • 2013 Universal Draft Grid

Didn't see either Asundral Cabrera nor Starlin Castro on the grid.
Thought you might want to know in case you could still make a correction in print version.

Thanks, this does appear to be a problem. Too late to fix for the print version, though. We'll post a correction on the book's home page.

Yes, we caught this too late as well.

We have to make a policy decision about whether we're going to continue revising the full-version PDF, or leave it to match the print edition and start listing the corrections on the errata page. It might get confusing to keep revising the PDF and having people with different versions. We'll sort that out in the coming week.

Suggestion: get some of the eagle-eyes in this thread, to proof-read an advance version of the caster next year.

Benefit -- they get advance content, you get to catch a lot of typos before the official version goes out.

It already gets proofread pretty extensively. The tight turnaround time to get it to press within about 6-7 weeks of the last pitch of the season being thrown really don't leave us wiggle room for additional review cycles.

Once I have the full list of missing players from the UDG, I will post it here.

When do you figure the UDG will be available?

One more thing -- how much longer before 2013 values are part of the CDG?

                        Thx in advance.

Does it mean the Stats and Projections will be loaded in at the same time or earlier?

For those of us who don't use Excel and who are trying to consult last year's stats (YTD), so many columns outside of the screen, it's a nightmare to consult. Can anything be done? Seems to me last year's format and contents was more user-friendly.

Edit: would have been easier if those "Last 30 days" and "Last 7 days" sections, would have been gutted out completely or simply migrated to a new page.

Use the CSV files or the "proj + YTD" format for better results. Those files will get archived soon though as we prep for 2013 projections. And yes, all areas of the site will get updated at basically the same time.
