  • 2011 stats

I am trying to find fairly complete stats for 2011 season. Most of the stuff I find with google is pretty incomplete. Any idea where I could get that for excel? Thx

I'm not sure what you mean by "fairly complete stats," but you should check out baseball-reference.com.

MLB.com has a good set of stats also.

And most stats are in tables, so you can click-and-drag them, then copy them, then paste them into your Excel. You might need to do a Paste Specoal and choose "Text" from the three options to make the tables work properly.

Thanks Patrick. The baseball reference site gave me 90% of the stuff I needed. Finding pitchers' total bases allowed has been tough however.

            Total bases allowed = hits + 2B = 2 * 3B + 3 * HR. All of those statistics are at http://www.baseball-reference.com/le...pitching.shtml
