  • Definiton of Ratings (Weekly Planner)

    Just wondering...

What can we deduce from the -5 to 5 ratings on the weekly planner?

If my pitcher has a 2.5 rating, what does that mean?

Much like your PX ratings... we know that 100 is league average. We know that a player with 120 is considered a legit power source. We know that a player with 80 is a player with little power.

Does a 1.5 rating mean we shouldn't start him? Does a negative rating mean stay away?

Discussed here in some detail. Our research last year showed that ratings over 2.0 are very appealing, anything negative is very scary. 0-2.0 is the middle ground.

Thanks Ray! That will help me tremendously. I didn't even use this feature last year, glad I am able to understand it better now.
