Smoltz's YTD BPV is zero?

I downloaded the 5/7 files and something caught my eye for the second week in a row. Smoltz's YTD BPV is zero.

That doesn't seem right. Is that because he hasn't issued a walk yet?

I think that is why. I've noticed the same thing with Betancourt.

Yes, that is the reason. Unless he goes the entire season without issuing a walk, the problem should correct itself shortly.
