Lefty, Righty, B, SW?

I was looking at what side some hitters hit from and came across "B". What does "B" stand for? I am asumming SW stands for switch hitter, L for Left side and R for right side.

Not sure where you were looking. Here at HQ, B means "Both".

I am mistaken. Some players have an "S" not "SW", sorry about that. I was thinking "B" meant both, so what does "S" mean? There are a lot of players listed with "S" (example, Jaramillo from Pitt).

Oh, sorry... our terminology is less consistent than I thought. We use both S and B, both indicate switch-hitters.
