REL calculation

How is Reliability calculated? I looked through the glossary and on the main site and didn't see anything. I was looking to apply this elsewhere. Please advise.

The exact formula isn't published. The components include a 3-year look at DL days and Runs Created/Game for hitters, and DL Days plus (either xERA or BPV, I think) for pitchers. The third component in the calculation is age.

This has been discussed a few times, a forum search may shed additional light. Also, the components are being revised somewhat in time for this year's Forecaster.
