My league counts errors as one of its categories. Its not one that you can just overlook. A couple of years ago, the fourth place team finished 11th in errors. If he had finished in 5th he would have won the league so you can see its importance. Unfortunately, every site and publication provides all sorts of stats but not errors. Is this something that might be added to future forecasts?
AL only keeper league, 10 teams. $270 cap. Positions - 5 OF, 1B, 3B, CO, 2B, SS, MI, 2 C, 1 DH, 10 pitchers, 4 reserves and 5 minor leaguers. Categories: BA, HR, RBI, SB, (Runs + BB), Errors for hitting, W, ERA, SV and (IP+K)-(H+BB) for pitching.

It's not really a projectable stat, which makes forecasting it somewhere between difficult and pointless. I don't want to tell you how to run your league, but it's a lousy category. As you observe above, once you introduce it, it becomes important. But winning or losing the category is not likely a reflection of skill or planning.
