  • How to get enough players on the grid?

Making my a.l. only grid. 11 teams 10/10 battters/pitchers. We need at least 110 pitchers active . We also have 7 reserve spots. I know in the A.L. many pitchers are worth a negative value, but they still need to be drafted. I like to stick with the grid for the entire draft. How can I get more players on it, other than printing out the projections then typing extra players into the grid?

Use your regular grid to get values for the 220 active players you need.

If you want an average of 5 more pitchers per team, you'll need 165 pitchers (110+55 =165). (Note if you only want 4 per team, make an adjustment). To get at least 165, run the Evaluator with 17 teams, and you will get at least 170 pitchers. Use the regular values (from the 11 teams grid) to decide on how much to bid on the top 110 or so pitchers. Use the 17-team grid to rank the reserves only (e.g., the remaining pitchers not on the 11-team list); though the values won't be accurate for the reserve picks, the rank order will be useful.

Others may have other methods, but I think mine works.
