Best bet is to follow Jeff Howard's excellent position scarcity theory: start with your infielders and possibly a catcher. Look for opportunities on closers.

Do you have an IP minimum? If not, you might consider waiting on SP.

Just finished an H2H draft in a league with one catcher per team. So look for unusual rules in your league and try to take advantage of them.

Question for Jeff H: how much would you downgradge or devalue the catcher position if your league only required one catcher, e.g., ESPN?

I found Jeff's straight draft primer very helpful. I believe
this was from last year (references to 2002 results, etc.)
but the theory remains, I assume. Would love to see his
draft/rd targets/results from doing it this year. Thought
I saw a reference to in coming later in March? Our draft
is this coming Friday (3/19) so any update would be great.
