How to use Grid for H2h NON-salary leagues?

Curious to know if anyone could shed some light as to the best way to go about the custom value/grid in non-auction leagues? Should I just enter an amount or leave it as is? I know the stats to check and it's a mixed league and should adjust to lower value for pitchers but how do I enter in for the Salary Cap amount in either the guide or grid? Thanks!

I suggest using $260 notional salary cap and a 180/80 hitting/pitching split (unless your overall league favors pitching more than most)
