View column of new forum

I'm having trouble figuring out the view column. I posted a question and it says 1 under views but no replies. Does this mean that 1 person looked at the post or is there something written in the view column that I am not accessing properly. Thasnks in advance for any help.

I have a strong feeling that the view totals are not correct. It may take a little longer to iron out all of the kinks...
