Similar to the question about qERA, I have been unable to find a formula for xBA. These indicators are used quite frequently, and I would like to know what goes into them, AND be able to incorporate xBA on my own spreadsheets without having to look them up individually.

I thought one of the tenets of this site was to not believe any derived measure unless you can see what goes into it!!!

How about adding it to the Stats Glossary??

Yeah, that's a bit of oversight on my part. xBA and qERA were recent additions to our analytical arsenal -- they appeared last year on HQ and in the Baseball Forecaster -- and just haven't been added to the glossary yet. I'll see what I can do as soon as possible.
