Hermida

HQ posted an article stating that Hermida has "a ton of upside". Today's posting says that Hermida "doesn't have a ton of power, nor is he a burner on the basepaths". These adjectives describe a good bench player....not a potential star.

Is Hermida an upcoming star, or isn't he?

Not to speak for today's author, but I think he was referring to his fairly pedestrian YTD PX and SX numbers. His focus wasn't on the long-term in that piece.

Since Hermida is only 22 and at least holding his own in the majors, and considering his minor-league pedigree... I think it's fair to call him an "upcoming star". But the point of today's piece was, (as I read it), if you're playing for the short term, he's not to that level yet.
