Why am I subscribed to every thread I post to?

Am I the only one that can't seem to find the switch to turn off the automatic subscription to every thread after a post?

You can go User CP < Edit Options < "Default subscription options"

OK, found it and fixed it. I had tried to turn it off previously, but it appears it was set to "No email" instead of "Do not subscribe". Is the default (new user, conversion from old server) set to "Do not subscribe"? If not, should it be? Maybe it's just me, but I almost never subscribe to threads. It's just easier to view New Posts the next time I log in. My email's clogged enough already. I guess if I had a short deadline on a trade or something, I might do it once...

I would hate to have the servers clogged with tons of subscriptions from newer guys or people converting over from the old server who don't even realize they're subscribing (just because they turned email notification off).... Just trying to save bandwidth and CPU cycles for everybody...maybe you've already got it under control and I'm flappin in the breeze for nothin'...
