I've been playing in points leagues the past couple years, and would like to try something different. I don't much about other formats. Where can I find out all the different scoring styles? And where can I then look for new leagues?

As far as looking for a new league , you might try these forums. You could put up a post announcing what area you are in and your interest. From time to time we've seen the reverse here. I know I've posted about openings in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area and rotorooter has posted about an opening in the NYC area.
