CAn anyone explain how to convert CSV (Excel) so that it is sorted by positions? IOW, how do I sort by only catchers in dollar order, only 1B, etc? thanks.

Open the csv file in excel. Highlight all the data. From the Home tab, click on Format As Table. The top cell of each column will have a drop down arrow you can use to filter & sort.

Another option is to highlight all the columns, go to the Data tab, and select Filter. Not much difference from Bean Counter's method, frankly. One key part of the process is to re-save the file in XLSX (native Excel) format. CSVs don't save all Excel features and you may wind up losing work if you don't save it as an Excel file.
