I am not sure what the balance of season projection is. Is it the projected stats that the player will produce for the rest of the year or is it the projected end of year stat line including the stats they have already produced?

"Balance of the season" projections are just that, expected performance from the day of the projections til the end of the year. If you look at Playerlink, you'll see three lines: current YTD, BOY, and total. The projection file each week contains YTD and BOY, in the two separate sections. -
