Shallow League Help

I have a very shallow league with only 8 teams. Would it be best to use the Custom Draft Guide for $ vallues or the Mack Team Tracker? The Custom Guides seem to weight BA more but is that due to such a shallow setting that average is emphasized??

I have had success using your information and projections over the last couple years(back-to-back Champ) but want to make sure I get the most out of it.

I'm not familiar with the intricacies of how the Mack engine does its calculations, but just thinking through it there may be more of an emphasis on average in a shallow league. In a shallow league each team should have hitters with better averages, and all teams will be bunched closer together. Therefore one palyer with a slightly better BA could make a bigger difference in the standings. That is one explanation for it.
