Question about Inflation article

Can anyone help me understand how "frozen value" is calculated in your recent inflation articles? Frozen salary is straightforward, I just don't understand where frozen value comes from. Also, I am in a H2H points league where we are able to keep up to 4 keepers so I imagine inflation should not be that bad but I would like to undestand it better nonetheless. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Frozen value

Total frozen value is the sum of the uninflated value of all the frozen players.
