When entering in the number of batters and pitchers, should I enter in the number that will start on a given day, in my league its 9 batters & 8 Pitchers. Or enter in the number of hitters and pitchers that I intend to draft. My roster size is 24 and I intend to draft 13 hitters and 11 pitchers

Generally, enter the number of guys who can accumulate stats for you in your league. If you're in a daily trannie league, you might pad that by splitting the difference between active and full roster to reflect the impact of those moves.
