  • Long standing Boston area AL Auction League seeing new owner

The No Name American League has an opening for a new owner. The league has been in existence since the 1980s and is blessed with competitive but friendly owners. This is an auction league with both major and minor league keepers. The cost is $350 and we pay the top four finishers. Our scoring categories are:

Batting: HRs, Steals, OBP and Runs Produced (Runs + RBI's-HRs)

Pitching: ERA, WHIP, Saves and 2X wins-losses (e.g. if you finish the season with 2 wins and 1 loss, you would have 3 wins for scoring purposes).

As mentioned above, the league is competitive but it's a lot of fun. All owners are very knowledgable and very actively involved in the league. The draft will be held the weekend of March 30/31, 2018 (most likely March 30). If we hold our auction on March 30 (a Friday), it will probably begin around 4:30 pm and will likely last until around 11pm. If the auction is on March 31 (a Saturday), it will likely begin mid to late morning and end very late afternoon. If you are interested in the league, you should plan on attending the auction/draft in person. We will also have a winter meeting on February 10 in the Waltham MA area that most owners try to attend. As mentioned in the Title line above, the league is based in the Boston area.

If you are interested please send me a PM (EJ@HQ) or respond to this post. I'll be happy to provide more information and details.
