Default 3 Spots Left - December Draft & Hold (50 round, 15tm mixed). Draft starts 12-2-17

Hi guys - only 3 spots left. Great group of players who have been playing together for a handful of years now.
    Rules are as follows:
The Jr Circuit December Draft & Hold League:
    Overview:
The JRC December Draft & Hold League’s regular season will begin with the first game of the 2018 MLB season and continue through the final game of the regular season, (including one or more season-ending MLB tie-breaker games if needed)
Teams will compete for accumulative stats in five offensive and five pitching categories, with each category weighted equally. The Categories will be:
    For Hitters:
    · Batting Average
    · Home Runs
    · RBIs
    · Stolen bases
    · Runs
    For Pitchers
    · Wins
    · Saves
    · ERA
    · Strikeouts
    · WHIP (walks plus hits divided by innings pitched)
Teams will be ranked from 1st to 15th based upon the cumulative total of their categorical rotisserie points. Example: The team with the most Home Runs will receive 15 points, the next highest 14 points, etc. This process is repeated for each of the 10 categories and the final standings will be determined by the order in which teams finish in the overall cumulative rotisserie standings.
    Online Draft, Fees & Prizes:
The JRC December Draft & Hold League will use a slow-draft process executed on FanTrax.com beginning Saturday December 2nd, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. Pacific Standard Time. The entry fee for the December league will be set at $100.00 and will be collected through LeagueSafe.com. 100% of the money collected will be distributed to the top 4 finishers, as follows:
    Total Prize Pool: $1,500.00
    1st Place Prize: $750.00
    2nd Place Prize: $375.00
    3rd Place Prize: $225.00
    4th Place Prize: $150.00
    Draft:
The December League will consist of 15 teams, each drafting 50 rounds/players. The draft will be a snake (or serpentine) draft. This means in odd-numbered rounds the order will be team 1 through 15 and in even-numbered rounds the order will be team 15 through team 1. This process will continue for 50 rounds, with each team having 8 hours to make a pick. There are no in-season moves in the Draft and Hold format, which means the Players you select over the course of the 50-round “slow-draft” are the players you have to fill a lineup for the entire season.
Each team must start a weekly lineup of 23 players with required positions and maintain a reserve roster (which includes DL players) of 27 players. During the draft, a team does NOT have to fill their starting 23-man roster before selecting reserve players. Example: By round 15, a team has 5 outfielders and an outfielder in their DH/UTIL spot. This team could still draft an outfielder and place them on their reserve roster, even if say their MI or a pitcher roster spot was still open on their starting 23-man roster.
Any player available in the FanTrax Draft Room/Player Pool is eligible to be drafted during the 50-round slow-draft.
Time Limit for Draft: As mentioned, an 8-hour clock will be used for the slow-draft process. It’s encouraged that owners make picks quicker than this, but the full 8 hours can be used to make a selection. If an owner does not make a selection before the 8 hour clock is up, the next available player in that team’s queue will be selected. If a team does not have any players in their queue, the highest ranked player on the draft website will be selected for that team and the draft will continue on to the next team for their 8-hour selection window. Ideally, we’d like to get through 2 rounds a day. This means looking ahead and having consistent access to the draft room via smartphones, etc., is encouraged.
The Draft Clock will pause each night from 1:30 AM ET (10:30 PT) till 6:30 AM ET (3:30 PT). During this time picks can still be made (and are encouraged to be if you’re awake). If a pick is made while the clock is stopped, the next owner is on the clock, and the clock resets. The new owner’s time limit will not begin until the clock un-freezes at 6:30 AM ET.
If an owner misses 5 or more selections and uses the entire clock, the commissioner has the right to set that team to “auto-pick” immediately when the team’s next picks come up. The immediate auto-pick will not be turned on without the commissioner first emailing the owner (if their email is public) after the first 3 picks are timed out, warning of the consequence of two more draft clock expirations.
Commissioner Decisions: All decisions made by the commissioner are final. These decisions could include eligibility rules, lineups, etc., and by signing up for the league and paying the entry fee, participants/team owners accept the unbiased ruling of the commissioner.
    Kentucky Derby Style Pre-Draft Preferences:
This league will use a Kentucky Derby Style draft order selection process. Once the league is full the commissioner will email out a request for all owners to provide their preferred draft order. This could be a simple 1 through 15, or 15 through 1, or something such as: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 15, 14, 13, 12, 4, 5, 11, 10, 9. Owner’s will have 24 hours to reply with their KDS preference. If the commissioner does not receive the KDS in 24 hours, the default 1 through 15 will be used. Once all owners have submitted their preference, a random draft order generator will be used with each team being entered into the generator. This system will generate an email and distribute to all owners. This first email from the generator is NOT the draft order, rather, this is the order in which teams will have their preference considered. Example: Team 1 selects a 15 thru 1 KDS preference, Team 2 selects a 1 through 15 preference and Team 3 selects 5 thru 1 and 6 thru 15 preference. The random draft generator gives an order of Team 3, Team 1, Team 2. This means Team 3 would receive pick 5 (their No. 1 preference), Team 1 would receive Pick 15 and Team 2 would receive Pick 1 overall. This continues until all teams receive their highest rated KDS draft selection spot remaining.
    Roster Requirements:
All teams must have 50 players at all times.
    Starting Lineup Requirements:
    · 2 catchers
    · 1 First Baseman
    · 1 Second Baseman
    · 1 Shortstop
    · 1 Third Baseman
    · 1 Middle Infielder (2B/SS)
    · 1 Corner Infielder (1B/3B)
    · 1 Utility Player (any offensive position)
    · 5 Outfielders
    · 9 Pitchers
There is a 1000 innings pitched minimum requirement. If a team fails to reach 1000 innings pitched by the end of the season, that team will receive 1 point in both the ERA and WHIP category. If more than one team fails to meet this requirement, they will share the lowest possible total in both ERA and WHIP. No other team will move up in the ERA/WHIP categories in the event that a team fails to reach this requirement.
    Position Eligibility:
We will use the following position eligibility rules for 2018:
    · Players who played at least 20 games at any position in 2017 will qualify at that portion for the entire 2018 season. Players who play 5 games at a new position in 2018 will be eligible at that position after they have played there for the 5th time during the 2018 MLB regular season. Any player who does not fit within these parameters will be determined by the host website (FanTrax) and is subject to their ability to change.
    · A player who only qualifies at DH may only be assigned to the Utility Player position. If a player’s most games played at a position is less than 20 games, the default eligibility of the host website (FanTrax) will be used and is subject to their ability to change.
    · Players who only pinch-hit in the majors in 2017 will be eligible at the position(s) the host website (FanTrax) determines and is subject to their ability to change.
    · Players who played all of 2017 in the minor leagues will be awarded position eligibility by the host website (FanTrax) and is subject to their ability to change.
    League Mangement:
Owners can visitwww.fantrax.com to manage their rosters and view the league home page.
    Lineup Submission:
The weekly deadline for setting your lineup is Monday, 5 minutes before the start of the first scheduled game of that week.
    Free Agents:
There are no free agent adds in this league. The players you acquire in December, are the players you have all year.
    Trades:
    Are not allowed.
    Refunds:
Are not available once the first pick of the slow-draft has occurred. If you decide to leave the league after the draft has started, the entry fee is forfeited and the roster will be auto-drafted.
If questions or concerns arise, FaxTrax League Homepage has a message board that can be used to communicate. Also, if any details have been omitted from this constitution, the league preference/settings tab can be referred to and are final.

Sorry for the late response - I must have forgotten to subscribe to this thread, so I only checked notifications earlier today and yesterday.

This particular league has since filled. I play with people who run 5 more of these throughout the winter, so I could always PM you when those spots come open if interested.

Again, sorry for the delayed response.
