  • A Michigan Man will coach...the Cosby Kids? Wait, what?

Rare opening in the second longest running (33rd year upcoming) NL only 5x5 league in the known universe. Effectively all the owners either attended U of M, or had the misfortune of running across somebody who had that talked them into joining their baseball league. Would kind of like to find a twelfth owner also with UM ties or at least not in Ohio. We have guys all over the country and one in Europe. League meets to draft, usually someplace warm, Phoenix, Vegas, Tampa, San Diego have been in heavy rotation. Lucky you, this year it's in Chicago instead. We already have a ticket for you for Friday afternoon's Cubs-Rockies game. While guys do phone in, we hope to see our buddies at half of our drafts, recognizing that sometimes life intervenes. Would be happy to provide rules, rosters, and bore and disgust you with 30 plus years of league anecdotes upon request. For instance there is a team called the "Full Montys", and please don't ask.

Keeper league? Standard 5x5? Date? I qualify: first Res College class - 1971.

      Phil--

Great that you might have interest. I might have added: keeper, cost is essentially $310 plus whatever you spend on contract extensions and September callups. Draft this year is April 16th in downtown Chicago.

Afraid I'm going to pass -- at least for now. Things might change in the next month, but that's doubtful.
