This is a brand new auction keeper league that is forming. Here is a summary of the league settings...
Crash Davis Baseball 2009
• $250 entry fee - 100% payout after CBS Sports fee ($150)
• Reg. season 1st =$500, 2nd =$250; playoffs 1st =$1,050, 2nd = $500, 3rd =$300, 4th =$250
• Host site: CBS Sports
• 12 teams consisting of both AL and NL players
• Weekly 5x5 Head to head scoring
• Two head to head matchups per week
• Batting categories: R, RBI, HR, SB, OPS
• Pitching categories: ERA, WHIP, K, SV, Net Wins
• Daily lineup changes
• Auction draft held on Fantasy Auctioneer/CBS Sports (date TBD)
• 30 players auctioned per team with a $300 salary cap
• 21 starters: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, LF, CF, RF, OF, Util., 4 SP, 2 RP, 3 P
• 9 reserves and 2 injured reserve
• Weekly add/drop using a free agent acquisition budget
• Maximum of 10 major league players may be kept
• Major Leaguer keeper price increases: +$3 year 1, +$5 year 2, +$10 year 3 and beyond
• Separate 5 player minor league auction with a $20 salary cap
• Maximum of 5 minor leaguers may be kept
• Minor Leaguer keeper price increases: +$1 year 1 and beyond
Only fantasy owners who are experienced and committed need apply. If you are interested in joining this league, then please reply to this post. I will provide interested owners with a copy of the detailed league constitution. The draft date will be scheduled at a time that is convenient for all owners once 12 owners are committed. The league will use CBS Sportsline's auction feature if Fantasy Auctioneer website remains down. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
