One of the oldest leagues in the country is retooling after 25 seasons.
The Los Angeles-based Golden State League has been operating continuously since 1984 as an NL-only league currently playing 5x5 Ultra.
Due to a larger than usual turnover -- we often go three or four years with no turnover at all -- the GSL is looking for new owners for the 2009 season. It is entirely possible that there will be two different leagues.
We're looking for experienced owners who don't have to be taught the game. In return, we promise strong competition among guys who love baseball as much as they love rotisserie baseball. At least one league will hold a live draft in Las Vegas on March 28, 2009.
