Entry Fee $25 (If paying by paypal the fee is $26 to cover fees)... prize pot equals $25 X the number of teams.
How to play (through mlb.com website)...
1) Pick one player every day who you think will get at least one hit. 2) Get a hit, your streak continues. Get no hits, your streak ends and you can start a new one.
I thought it would be fun to have a small entry fee that would provide a little extra incentive/enjoyment in playing mlb.com's beat the streak game. If we end up with a small league around 10 players then we would have it where the person with the longest streak would take the entire prize pot. If we have more entrants than we may add a small second place prize.
Registration hasn't opened yet for 2007 but the following link shows top individual performances over the last six years (top performer = 43 games). If someone were to reach 57 games mlb.com mentions you would win $100,000.
