Although I was having some trouble calculating the correct value, I don't see how Paul Byrd could possibly have the highest BPV of any AL starting pitcher even with a great command ratio, given less than adequate hr/9, h/9 and k/9. Could you check this and could you, if you have time layout the correct calculation here so I can duplicate it going forward.
